About Hanger Bolts

Hanger bolts are headless studs with a screw thread at one end and a machine thread at the other. The screw end goes into timber or a purlin, and the machine end takes a nut, bracket or rail, which makes them the standard fixing for solar panels on tiled and sheet roofs.

We supply hanger bolts in stainless steel and zinc plated steel, with sealing washers and brackets for solar installers and furniture makers.

Hanger Bolts FAQs

How are hanger bolts installed?

Two nuts are locked together on the machine thread so a spanner can drive the screw end in, then the nuts are removed.
