How to Request a Fastener Quote
A complete fastener enquiry names the type, size, material or grade, finish, standard and quantity, plus delivery location and date. With these details a supplier can quote accurately the same day.
What to include
- Fastener type, for example hex bolt or wedge anchor
- Size: diameter and length, and thread if not standard
- Material or grade, for example SS 316 or high tensile
- Finish, for example zinc plated or galvanized
- Standard or drawing reference if specified
- Quantity and delivery location
Send a sample or photo
For replacement parts, a photo next to a ruler or a physical sample is often the fastest way to get an exact match.
Ask for documents up front
If your project needs test certificates or a specific make, say so in the enquiry so the quote matches.
Kitting
Ask for bolts, nuts and washers as complete sets, or kitted by flange or assembly, to save time on site.
